Provides a smooth, even flow of abrasive to the power gun.

The Pickup Tube is a critical component in a siphon blast system. Skat Blast's double-tube style allows air to enter top, pass through power zone, and pick up abrasive where it is carried to the gun. Due to gradual wear, pickup tubes must be replaced regularly. 5/8" O.D. x 18 gauge. (To determine which pickup tube length you need, measure the longest tube.) Made in USA.

18-1/4"L, straight end.

Fits Model SC-33, SC-33V, 780, 780-TL, 800-T, 930, 935 Skat Blast Cabinets.

Almost perfect.

Many sandblasting experts agree that the 5/16" drill hole on the air tube should be sealed. This is something the manufacturer could easily have done. The purchaser can easily do this, but just sayin...

Perfect Replacement for HF Cabinet

Years ago I bought a Harbor Freight blast cabinet. On sale I think I paid $200 for it. I took some extra time sealing it up and it worked very well for me for years. Then the gun started to wear out and I hacked something together with some more cheap parts and got it working again. Wash, rinse, repeat for a couple more go rounds, and performance started to really fall off. I decided I'd had enough and landed on this site after a search. I got everything I needed to get that cabinet back in tip top shape and working great. This pickup tube is basically an exact replacement for the one in my HF cabinet (I had to drill new mounting holes, but the length and style were a perfect match.

Service & Delivery comments: Prompt delivery, well packaged.

Great for Harbor Freight small blast cabinet

It's a little long for the HF cabinet but cutting off a couple inches does the trick.

I have another manufacturers blasting cabinet. This pick up tube works 100% better then the original. I would recommend this to anyone who has trouble getting media to their gun.

Disappointed as a replacement for original purchase

By Groody Bros. Bicycle Restoration Verified Buyer from Kansas City, KS on 6/29/2017

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is built differently than what I originally bought a few years ago. I thought it would have been an exact duplicate of the original. The bolt hole positions are different. I had to drill new holes in my cabinet and plug the original ones. The pickup tip is now a few inches closer to the operator side so no longer in the center of the pit results in a lop-sided distribution of the media. Manual redistribution of the media has to be performed more frequently.

TP Tools response: The replacement Skat Blast tubes are designed to be mounted in the center of the funnel instead of the corner of the funnel. This allows the user more flexibility. Was the correct tube ordered?TP Tools
