Step 1 - AquaKlean
A water-based, concentrated, biodegradeable cleaner/degreaser. Use first to clean and degrease parts prior to applying RustBlast Pre-Paint Primer. Dilute with water 1:1 or 1:5. Made in USA. 1 qt.
Step 2 - RustBlast
A water-based rust remover and zinc phosphate pre-primer metal etch. Use after Aqua Klean to prepare the surface for RustSeal Paint Coatings below. Ensures strong bond. Made in USA. 1 qt.
Step 3 - RustSeal Rust Preventive Paint Coating
RustSeal is a ready-to-use, single-component, high-solids content, moisture-curing urethane with exceptional sealing properties. RustSeal stops rust and locks out moisture permanently. Ready-to-use formula applies directly over treated rust or corrosion. Simply brush, roll, or spray on. It won't crack, chip, flake, or peel, plus remains flexible allowing expansion and contraction. RustSeal also withstands temperatures up to 600°F, repels fuels, oils, and most acids, and is mold- and mildew-resistant. Adheres to steel, aluminum, fiberglass, concrete, wood, and some plastics. If the surface is exposed to sunlight, topcoating is recommended. Topcoat can be done with any material within 12 hours. After 12 hours, scuff the surface with 320 grit sandpaper; then apply topcoat. Galvanized Steel RustSeal - #KBS-4415 - Duplicates the look of a galvanized matte finish and provides the same protection as RustSeal Paint above. 3 products in 1 - a permanent rust coating, a high-build primer, and a UV-enhanced topcoat. Made in USA. 1 qt.
CAUTION - Respiratory Protection is required when painting. Not included.
CAUTION - Once dry, KBS cannot be removed by solvent. To prevent skin from staining, wear protective clothing and avoid contact with skin. If product does contact skin, remove immediately.
