Your search is over! Finally, a fully assembled, all-welded steel workbench that can hold its own weight. Our WB-440 Super-Weight workbench weighs 440 lbs and has all-welded construction, so there is no need to worry about it moving or twisting like wood or bolt-together, pre-stamped steel-type benches.
The WB-440 has a 36" high 3/16" thick steel top plate, 26" deep x 60" wide with three 4" high C-Channels (front, center, and rear) that run the width of the bench, and two that run front to rear. This 4" C-Channel construction provides a solid, rigid top framework which supports the 3/16" thick top plate. Welded to this top framework are four 3" x 3" x 3/16" thick tubular steel legs with tubular shelf-cross and front-to-rear supports. This combination of the C-Channel top framework and tubular bottom support section make this bench capable of holding just about anything your shop can throw at it!
Also includes a 3/16" thick steel shelf, 14" deep x 58-1/2" long, for storing those heavy items. Each leg has foot pads with one leveling screw and one hole for bolting workbench to the floor. Top has a 4" high steel backsplash to prevent tools and parts from rolling off and behind the workbench. The 3/16" thick top plate also provides an excellent surface for bolting on a vise or anvil.
