The TP-200 Bead Roller is just what custom car and street rod builders, and do-it-yourselfers need!
TP-200 will easily add a half-round bead line to metal or aluminum by simply feeding the material into the bead mandrels while cranking the handle. By moving and turning the material while feeding, you can create custom curved bead lines, flames, and other unique designs in your firewalls, truck beds, floor pans, interior dashes, or race car panels. Plus, these beads will add strength and stiffen the panel. This Bead Roller was used on our 34 Dodge RamJet restoration project - to add a rolled edge bead to the firewall and to add strength to a rear patch section on the back of the cab. It worked great, and looks fantastic!
By using optional mandrels below, you can make larger beads (up to 1/2" wide) or create an offset flange on the edge of metal for flush panel replacement. Also, optional slitting/shearing mandrel will slit and cut metal for custom applications.
The TP-200 is made in the USA by TP Tools and features an adjustable top shaft assembly with tension screw adjustment for starting your bead in the center of a panel and for different bead depths. Heavy-duty ductile iron framework construction resists flexing, and 20" throat enables a bead to be placed in the center of a 40" panel. Large 1" diameter shafts with 2" dia mandrels and torque action gears, plus extra long crank handle, give the proper leverage needed to feed metal through the mandrels with maximum ease and minimal effort. The TP-200 is capable of beading, flanging, or slitting materials up to 18 gauge. Mounts to your bench or to optional 11 gauge welded stand.
