Specially formulated to be the best and most beautiful engine paint you can buy! Unlike other engine paints, POR-15® Engine Enamels offer a deep, rich color that will last. When completed, your engine will have the look of a powder-coated finish. POR-15® Engine Enamels are engine-tested and guaranteed not to burn off, even at high temperatures. To apply: simply clean the surface to be coated. Surface must be free of grease, oil, dirt, and rust. Blasted surfaces such as castings or cast iron need no further preparation. (Smooth surfaces should be treated with POR-15® Metal-Ready®.) Then simply apply the Engine Enamel with a brush. If spraying is required, you will have to thin Engine Enamel 20% with POR-15® Solvent. One coat will usually cover. If a second coat is desired, wait 24 hours and recoat. Apply in a well-ventilated area. Not recommended for exhaust systems. Available in pints. Colors shown below.
