Extra smooth finish! Comparable in wear-resistance and cost to most abrasives, Steel Grit is popular because it leaves such a smooth finish... not as much texture as others. Extremely fast cutting on rusty metal -- ideal for Skat Blast or any abrasive blaster cabinet. Perfect for preparing metal for painting. Grit Size 80, dark gray color. Made in USA.
TECH TIP: When using a Skat Blast Cabinet, a variety of dry abrasives can be used. Generally, the higher the grit number, the finer the abrasive. The finer the abrasive, the smoother the finish. Coarse-grit abrasives cut fast, but the finish isn't as smooth as fine-grit abrasives.
