Forming metal is easy! Hook up your air hose from your compressor. Insert metal to be formed between upper and adjustable lower die. Press foot pedal. Upper hammer die will continuously move up and down creating a hammering action on the metal. This hammering action forces the metal over lower die stretching and shaping it. Different shapes and contours can be created by changing the lower die (different dies have different radiuses). You can also change the blows per minute with the air speed adjustment valve allowing you to create rough or smooth surfaces. Shape large or small areas. Remove wrinkles on metal formed with body hammers and beater bags.

TP Tools Tip: When using a Planishing Hammer or English Wheel, lubricate the metal lightly with spray-type oil. This reduces friction between the dies or anvils while forming or stretching the metal. Reduced friction also promotes longer die or anvil life.
