Speedy Foam™ pads have a cool vent pattern cut in the foam which opens up as the polishing machine is in operation, relieving pressure on the painted surface to "cool-it". This traps excess polish and compound and keeps the surface lubricated and cooled to help prevent swirls, paint burns, separation and graying. Hook and Loop Backing and centering hole. 8" dia x 2" thick.
PPI - Pores per inch. The lower the number of ppi, the coarser or more aggressive the foam pad will be. The higher the ppi, the finer the foam pad will be.

- SM-44-768 Buffing Yellow Foam Pad, 50 ppi - polyester foam pad, soft, pliable and tough. Specially-designed for light compounding and paint oxidation removal on all finishes. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
- SM-44-717 Buffing Green Foam Pad, 60 ppi - polyester "Clear Coat" foam pad. For light compounding and paint oxidation removal on clear coat finishes. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
- SM-44-737 Polishing/Finishing Blue Foam Pad, 70 ppi - coarse polyester foam pad for final polishing before applying finish wax. Prevents paint burning and graying. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
- SM-44-758 Polishing/Finishing Black Foam Pad, 80 ppi - fine polyester foam pad for final polishing before applying finish wax. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
- SM-44-778 Finishing White Foam Pad, 90 ppi - extra-fine polyester foam pad for final wax finishing. Eliminates swirl marks, and helps prevent paint burns and graying. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
